I came to fashion through several forms of creative work. Before beginning my formal design education, I spent years working in my family’s flower business, where I developed an instinct for color, proportion, texture and visual storytelling. My education in business gave me another way of understanding creativity—one that considers the relationship between an idea, the person it is intended for, and how it can be thoughtfully brought into the world.

I draw inspiration from literature, film, vintage dress, and the observed details of everyday life. I’m interested in how stories, rituals, places and personal experiences accumulate emotional meaning, translating these references into silhouette, texture, color and atmosphere rather than reproducing them literally.

Visual storytelling is central to how I approach design. I often begin with a feeling, scene, or atmosphere and consider how clothing, photography, setting and language can work together to give it form. I want to create more than isolated garments; I hope to build a world around my work and foster a community of people who connect with them.
